Health and Safety Manager                                             

 

Working out of our Adelaide based headquarters this key role will provide you with a fantastic opportunity to make your mark.

The focus on this role is to drive our workplace Occupational Health and Safety Program toward an injury free workplace and maintain our Self Insurance status.

 

Be the guardian of an impressive workplace health and safety management system and lead us along our continuous improvement journey. As a change agent, you will coach, influence and engage our people to develop a safety culture throughout our complex industrial manufacturing environment.

 

Being flexible in your approach, you will need to operate strategically to develop a safety culture and also in a “hands on” capacity to conduct audits, trainour employees in safe practices; manage the on going maintenance of our Health Safety systems, along with the associated records, whilst ensuring our compliance with state and national legislative requirements.

As the champion for safety, you will lead and manage the OH&S Committee and represent the company in community and industry safety groups.

 

Paramount to your success as the safety conscience for our organization is your “can do” attitude, tenacity and ability to effectively engage our people.

A working knowledge of state/national legislative requirements and best practices is mandatory, with safety management experience gained within a self insured manufacturing industry being highly advantageous.
