Reporting to the Manager of Workforce Analysis and Planning, this role is designed to oversee the development of accurate workforce information, reports and advice to senior executives and Ministers and their staff to support the State’s economic and social objectives. You will be responsible for initiating and enhancing cross-government and industry projects related to workforce planning and analysis to inform whole Government approaches to skill and workforce development. You will also provide leadership and expertise in the area of workforce analysis and planning and contribute to the delivery and maintenance of efficient work practices and positive working environment.
You are highly analytical by nature and are comfortable with the use of quantitative analytical tools. You possess the ability to decipher and present complex information in a variety of ways to different audiences. With previous experience in the formulation of policy, you are able to build meaningful relationships with both internal and external stake holders. A degree in economics or similar would be desirable.
