PAYROLL MANAGER

Responsible for the centralised payroll function servicing 500 employees Australia wide, key responsibilities for this position include the process control for all Payroll Functions; analysis of payroll reports; reconciliation of payroll related GL accounts and completion of all compliance reporting.

In addition this position has the prime responsibility for CHRIS 21 administration and its application, including analysis of our human resource measures.
 
Critical to your success in this role is:
 
  • Proven experience in the management and operation of a payroll function for a medium to large size manufacturing organisation
  • Extensive knowledge of statutory compliance and superannuation guarantee
  • Ability to interpret awards and industrial agreements
  • Strong internal customer focus and the ability to maintain effective relationships across a broad range of personnel.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical ability
  • Ability to both extract reports from Payroll Systems, analyse and report on findings
  • Expertise with CHRIS 21 is paramount, with exposure to the Kronos time management system being advantageous.
