Our client is seeking to appoint a suitably experienced Sales & Marketing Manager for their state of the art winery operation located in the heart of McLaren Vale, South Australia.

At the forefront of this winery\'s future growth, some of your main responsibilities will include:

• Profitably optimise sales levels and market position into existing and new distribution points
• Plan, organise, coordinate, control and report all sales and marketing functions
• Pro-actively contribute to strategic planning to ensure long-term future growth
• Execution of market based programmes into all domestic and international channels of distribution
• Organisation and attendance of appropriate trade events
• Building and maintenance of relationships with internal and external contacts
• Translation of marketing plans into achieved sales objectives whilst operating within agreed expenditure budgets

Suitable applicants will possess the following skills, qualifications and attributes:

• Marketing plans developed and implemented leading to sales and profit growth
• A tenacious approach balanced with loyalty, integrity and credibility
• Commitment to customer service
• Extensive and recent experience in a similar role within the wine industry
• Tertiary qualifications
• Industry connections

This position will give you the chance to work closely with the company Directors, and autonomously, to maintain and build the existing brand and be part of its proud history. The incumbent will accept responsibility and accountability for challenging sales targets and tenacity will be required to succeed.
