Our well-established and reputable client is looking to expand their successful team with the addition of Heavy Diesel Fitters for their Quarry site. This role is located on the outskirts of Adelaide and is available immediately on a contract basis.

Reporting to the Workshop Maintenance Supervisor, your role will involve the repair and maintenance of all mobile plant on-site, to an exceptional standard. Whilst the role is based in the site workshop, on-site break down maintenance is a major component of this role. An ability to, on occasion, work autonomously for long periods, and to prioritise work, is necessary.

Candidates who have solid working experience on Caterpillar, Komatsu or Liebherr heavy earth moving machinery, in a mining environment, will be highly regarded. Familiarity with auto electrics and hydraulics, as well as Drill Rig Fitting experience, is also desirable, as is previous mining experience on hard rock, open cut mining machines.

All applicants must have relevant Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic/Fitter qualifications to be considered.
