Howard Relaxed About Ads

Australians would make up their own minds about a series of advertisements using war veterans to criticise the Government over its handling of maritime boundary negotiations with East Timor, the Prime Minister, John Howard, said yesterday.The advertisements are the latest in a $6 million campaign being funded by Melbourne businessman Ian Melrose in an effort to put pressure on the Government over the East Timor gas and oil dispute.
